"Dino, owner of Berkeley Woodworks, is a skilled furniture maker with a keen sense of style and and eye for beauty in design. We worked with him initially, to design a bedroom set that would mirror the style of our mid century modern house, built in the Eichler style. We knew we were interested in walnut, but beyond that, the pieces were designed by Dino in close consultation about details, with us. We ordered a platform bed and headboard, 2 side tables, a jtansu, and a large double dresser. Throughout the construction process, Dino contacted us to clarify detail questions. On several occasions we were invited to his workshop to consider a design element. The project was finished on time, and within our budget. It was professionally delivered and installed without incident. We are very pleased with the quality and design of our furniture. Guests to our home frequently want to know about where our bedroom furniture came from, thinking they may have seen it in architectural magazines. We hired Dino to make 2 other pieces for our home- in our den, a built in bookcase made out of cherry, and in our living room, another walnut piece; a multi use end table/book shelf. These are also sources of pride and satisfaction to us."

"We hired Dino to build kitchen cabinets, bathroom cabinets, book cases and a mantle piece in the living room as part of a major house remodel. We found his professionalism, advice and work quality to be outstanding. His long term experience in the field enabled him to advise and make suggestions with great results for us and our house. "We were doing a new addition to our house and needed someone to make some custom cabinets for our bathroom. We had some requirements (a built in hamper, etc) and Constantine took our ideas and made it better! He created a beautiful cherry and wenge two sink cabinet with a built in hamper and lots of drawer space and an additional side cabinet with sliding doors for easy access. Constantine was wonderful to work with and extremely timely. In fact our bathroom wasn't ready for the cabinets to be installed when he finished and he graciously stored the cabinets until our bathroom was ready for them. Would highly recommend Constantine for beautiful wood cabinetry work!"

"We first saw master cabinet maker Dino's work at the home of a friend, and spent more time salivating over their gorgeous kitchen than the wonderful meal that came out of it. Made up our minds that if we ever could afford a new kitchen, we'd call. We just finished our SECOND kitchen (yep, we moved) with Wood Works. It's not cheap, but we saved a fortune. Dino helped us with design (even though we had an architect) so we got to use more of our space. He picked beautiful wood for the handmade cabinets, and didn't mind installing either Ikea hardware, or salvaged knobs that we found on E-bay, to add a vintage feel and save money. He adapted our earthquake-slanted space with no complaints. We're not moving again, so I'm willing to share my secret kitchen weapon with you. Only problem is, you may have trouble getting people to go to any other room in your house."
